My story is shaped by the Virgin Islands, strengthened by Caribbean connections, and grounded in a career that has moved across government, business, tourism, telecommunications, international commerce, nonprofit leadership, and entrepreneurship.
I have spent more than two decades building brands, managing operations, developing partnerships, communicating across sectors, and creating platforms that connect people to opportunity. That experience has given me a practical understanding of how policy, business, tourism, infrastructure, communication, and community trust must work together.
My early work with the Maryland Department of Business & Economic Development gave me direct exposure to economic development, business support, strategic marketing, and public-private collaboration. Later leadership roles with Cable & Wireless BVI and Caribbean Cellular Telephone strengthened my experience in communications, customer engagement, and competitive industries.
At the BVI International Arbitration Centre, I worked at the intersection of operations, governance, international business, and institutional development. Through Smith’s Ferry Services, I continue to support marketing and communications within a sector directly connected to tourism, transportation, and the movement of people across the region.
As Founder and CEO of Caribbean POSH, I have built a regional platform that celebrates Caribbean women, supports entrepreneurs, strengthens relationships, and creates visibility for the Virgin Islands and the wider Caribbean.
Away from my professional work, I’m most proud of being a mother. That role continually reminds me why investing in future generations matters and why creating lasting opportunities is so important.
